Jacob Kassama

Jacob Kassama began training in Jiu-Jitsu at age nine. At the age of fifteen, his skill and potential were recognized and he was hand selected and earned a sponsorship to train full-time at the world renoned Art of Jiu-Jitsu  (AOJ) Academy  in Costa Mesa California. While there, Jacob earned his Blue and Purple Belts from the Mendes Brothers. Jacob continued his Jiu-Jitsu training under the tutelage of Keenan Cornelius at Legion American Jiu-Jitsu Academy in San Diego California, earning his Brown Belt.

Jacob has won multiple prestigious titles across the youth and adult divisions. This includes:

· IBJJF 2-time Pan  American Champion 2019 & 2020

· IBJJF Orange County Open Champion 2020

· IBJJF New York Pro Champion 2019

· IBJJF San Diego Open Champion 2019

· IBJJF Los Angles Open Champion  2019

· IBJJF Houston Open Champion 2018

· IBJJF Los Angles Pro Champion 2018

With nearly two decades of progressive Jiu-Jitsu training and experience, Jacob has not only  mastered the art for himself, but has also learn how to teach it in a way that truly supports, challenges and encourages you.
